Real Narrow Gauge!

Hello and Welcome to my Narrow Gauge website. As this is only a new website, it is still being updated often.

Whats new?

Friday 6 May 2005 2123: Well well well, apologies to those people who thought this site was dead. It wasn't! I've been having troubles getting into the program used to update my site and I havn't been able to get it done. Bloody SP2. Anyway, you will notice a few new changes. Down the left we no longer have so many links. I've combined a few and others have gone all together. Hopefully it is now easier to navigate the page then it was. Now, still some changes to do then I will get back to my MSTS stuff. Speaking of MSTS, UBGG has been progressing well with reforestation after logging coming along well in some places and not so well in others. I have got the signals in thanks VERY much to Craig Walton AKA K163 for this work. Much appreciated! Track is all layed out 100% and we are only waiting on the trees to grow and the builders to come in to build some buildings. Then it is esentially finished except for the small niggling bits and pieces such as beta testing. Now before anyone asks I will not be accepting beta testers so it is best not to ask. I have already picked out a few select people to do some testing. However, if you wish to become a tester I will open a thread in RP and if you can guess the ammount of track UBGG has then I might think about it. Anyway, off my arse and back to fixing this webpage then MSTS!

Cyas,

Monday 11 October 2211: Just updated the routes page with some new photos of some of the stations on the newest bits of track. Theres Picketts siding, George Creek, Foster and Jamison.

Monday 4 October 1702: Well well folks, I've been busy once more. All the track work is complete in UBGG and I've sent it away to Craig (K163) to do the signalling. A task which I just couldn't handle. I'm not sure of a release date but you might just get a present.. cryptic clue for all you riddle nuts out there.

Other than that, there hasn't been alot happening. The mining route hasn't been opened once in the last 3 months so nothing has happend on that. TSM is dead whilst I wait for Matt to make me some small station shelters and platform names. Thanks Matt!

Friday 13 August 1820: Hey hey again. No updates for awhile I've just been too busy. Anyway, UBGG has about 40km of track in it now and its only about 50% done! Christmas is looking like a good date for release. No signals as yet. They can cause problems in the Track database if you put them in then edit the track so they are going in after track but before most scenary. No work has been done in TSM or on SRMC. I've been making alot of activitys for Sunshine - Ballarat.

Friday 4 June 2211: Not alot to add this time. Work in MSTS has dropped off a little bit as I'm having a bit of a break. Creating activitys and running things on the default routes. This doesn't mean that RE and TSM are totally dead. Just slowed down. Track laying is about 50% done in UBGG. Scenary is about 25% complete and activitys are only really used to test the track+locos etc. Track in the other route has hardly been started. Only the "Zig-Zag" down into the actual pit has been made. Nothing else.

Saturday 15 May 2213: Yet another update! This time, its more then just writing. With a couple of in prgress pics of the SHLR # 18, things are taking shape. This is going to be a real cute loco when its finished!

Updated the website and moved all the "Old News" to the new "Old News" page. You can get there by clicking here. Also added pictures of the new SHLR loco on the engines page. When I can get it working in the sim properly I'll post some on the pics page.

Sunday 9 May 2115: Last night, I started another steam loco! THis one is based on an 18" gauge loco. The prototype was used on the Sand Hutton Light Railway. Looks good!
